Head of Next Generation Sequencing Laboratory for Precision Medicine

We are looking for an experienced team leader for running our Next Generation Sequencing Laboratory with a strong track record in molecular biology and sequencing technologies, in particular with Illumina and/or MGI sequencing platforms. A scientific and technical understanding of all NGS related processes, expertise in high-throughput sample processing and analysis, as well as a solid grasp of molecular biology is essential. Previous experience with ISO9001 certification, ISO17025 or ISO15189 accreditation and Laboratory Information Management Systems would be a plus. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations of the core sequencing lab, including both routine diagnostics and technology developments, and the management of a team of technical staff. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills.

You will join a dedicated team of biologists, laboratory technicians and software engineers who develop Alacris’ unique Comprehensive Molecular Tumor Analysis (CMTA) and ModCell TM pipeline, aimed at personalizing treatment options for cancer patients.
